We offer the following in our search for engaged employees looking to become part of a successful team:
We are currently looking for Apprentice Mechanics and Licensed Truck Mechanics (310T) to join our Cambridge Maintenance Department.
You will use current technology to ensure the highest performance and safety of all vehicles. Working in a clean and organized environment you will participate in a training program designed to upgrade your skills and keep you informed of new technology.
Working alongside our team of mechanics to perform the following:
Preventative and scheduled repairs:
Review and follow work order instructions from start to finish
Outline all parts used and input comments into the work order (complaint, cause and correction) regarding the repair
Inspect entire vehicle and road test to ensure repairs are complete
Test systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to isolate faults
Notify shift Team Leader of any other needed repairs
Identify any warranty repairs and complete necessary paperwork
Perform Ministry of Transportation vehicle inspections as per Ministry guidelines
Shunting and moving equipment in and out of maintenance facility and other destinations for repairs
Put away any equipment used, including personal tools
Shop cleanliness, emptying garbage cans at end of shift, washing floors and sweeping
Attend shift meetings as required
Participate in formal and informal training sessions
Desired Qualifications and Attributes
Currently a registered 310T Truck and Coach Apprentice
Willing to be trained
Weekend Days – Friday to Sunday 6:00AM – 6:00PM
