The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a Weekend Shop Team Leader to join our Cambridge Maintenance Department.

You will use current technology to ensure the highest performance and safety of all vehicles.  Working in a clean and organized environment you will continue to be challenged to upgrade your skills and stay informed of new technology.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead  and train technicians to maintain safe equipment
  • Prioritize workloads and schedule repairs with the appropriate technicians
  • Open and close work orders after reviewing
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Oversee duties of the Breakdown desk
  • Manage vehicle down time
  • Responsible for Employee Performance Reviews and New Hire Orientations / Reviews
  • Provide prompt, polite communication to all parties
  • Handle timely communications with dealerships, vendors, suppliers, etc.
  • Constantly reviewing work process and provide suggestions for process improvement
  • Related duties as assigned by management

Desired Qualifications and Attributes

  • Licensed Mechanic with a 310T or 310J Red Seal Certification
  • Possess a valid G Driver’s License
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to take initiative to lead others and be action oriented
  • Must be a good team player who is self-motivated and fosters a motivated work environment
  • Ability to creatively and effectively make improvements, resolve issues and problems
  • Safety minded
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Attend monthly Team Leader’s meetings (may not be within shift hours)


  • Weekend Days – Friday to Sunday 6:00AM – 6:00PM
  • OR Part-time Weekend Days - Saturday and Sunday 6:00AM – 6:00PM
