 We are currently hiring a DRIVER COORDINATOR to join our OPERATIONS TEAM.

 Duties Include

  • Participate in and support driver retention initiatives
  • Maintain fair and equitable distribution of work
  • Communicate dispatch information as required
  • Monitor driver performance/miles and reefer requirements
  • Monitor and respond to driver satellite messages
  • Assist with the development of the required driver skills i.e.: Customs, Hazmat, hours of service, policy, regulations, satellites, etc.
  • Assist with solutions regarding any driver concerns
  • Assist with driver inquiries - payroll, miles etc. Update customer websites relative to the position/shift
  • Communicate & problem solve with customers as required
  • Other duties as assigned

 Qualifications

  • Knowledge of truckload dispatch an asset
  • ACE and Customs/border crossing experience an asset
  • AS400/ICC experience an asset
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communications skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong self-discipline and initiative
  • Creative and effective problem solving ability
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Intermediate level computer skills and proficient keyboarding
  • Understanding of North American geography

 Hours

  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 700h-1900h
  • This job requires the employee to work stat holidays if it falls upon their regular shift (except Christmas)
