The Opportunity

As part of our Operations Team, the Dedicated Customer Coordinator is responsible for collecting, verifying and processing all driver trip jackets for our Loblaw’s business unit.

The chosen candidate will work independently to complete a wide range of administrative duties in order to ensure the complete and accurate processing of our driver trip jackets.  We are looking for an individual with a high attention to detail, a positive attitude, who is driven and enjoys working in a fast paced environment.

  • Standard office hours; Monday to Friday from approximately 8:00am to 5:00pm

 

Primary duties and responsibilities:

  • Collects trip jackets from local drivers
  • Verifies all trip jacket documentation to ensure accuracy
  • Analyzes trip activity bands, determines mileage/stops and pay bands associated with each trip in order to calculate driver pay
  • Follows up with drivers to obtain missing information from trip jackets and provides assistance in completing paperwork
  • Works closely with invoicing, payroll and customer service teams to ensure trip jacket accuracy
  • Creates accurate and detailed reports to track outstanding trip jackets
  • On a monthly basis, validates and audits Loblaw’s payment information and reconciles from processed trip jackets
  • Performs other routine administrative duties as required.

 

What you need to be successful in the role:

  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite, including formula creation in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Good computer skills
  • Possess a good working knowledge of the geography of South Western Ontario
  • Ability to work independently on projects
  • Positive, outgoing and friendly personality
  • Experience in the transportation industry considered to be an asset
  • Knowledge of PC Miler considered to be an asset
