Role Summary:
The Asset Planner is primarily responsible for the accurate and timely tracking of container, chassis, and load movements within the logistics department. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring data integrity, meeting time-sensitive deadlines, and managing multiple tasks with meticulous attention to detail.
Hours of Work:
8:30am – 5:00pm OR 9:00am – 5:30pm, Monday -Friday

Key Accountabilities:
Container Tracking:
Track container movements meticulously from their initial location to their final destination.
Update internal systems promptly with real-time container status updates.
Communicate any changes or delays in container movements to relevant stakeholders with precision.
Ensure meticulous documentation and record-keeping of container movements.
Data Entry and System Updates:
Enter data accurately and promptly into internal systems with acute attention to detail.
Update tracking systems promptly with real-time information on container, chassis, and load movements.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across all tracking systems with meticulous attention to detail.
Chassis Tracking:
Monitor the availability and usage of chassis for container transport with acute attention to detail.
Update internal systems promptly with chassis movement data.
Coordinate with equipment providers to promptly address any issues or discrepancies in chassis availability.
Communicate with relevant parties regarding chassis status and availability with accuracy and timeliness.
Load Tracking:
Track the progress of loads meticulously from initiation to closure.
Coordinate seamlessly with carriers, shippers, and receivers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of loads.
Intervene promptly as needed to address delays or issues affecting load movements.
Maintain meticulous records of load status and document any deviations from the original plan with precision.

Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who brings:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in logistics coordination, data entry, or a similar role within the transportation industry.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, coupled with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deadlines.
