Role Summary:
As part of the Safety & Compliance team, the Driver Safety Administrator is responsible for assisting the Driver Safety Coordinators in administrative tasks related to enforcement of the laws and policies as prescribed by the Company and federal legislation.

Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm

Key Accountabilities:
In this role, you will:
  • Administrative duties with filing, copying and inputting data tracks critical events and notifications into the system
  • Tracks critical events and notifications
  • Manages tracking hours of service
  • Conducts driver exit interviews and driver safety performance reviews
  • Administers Carrier’s Edge Online Training System
  • Demonstrates initiative in adopting and utilizing technology to optimize workflows, solve problems, and support data-informed decision-making.
  • Responds to safety inquiries and external motorist complaints
  • Interact with drivers through safety campaigns
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who brings:
Education & Experience:
  • Experience in dealing with transportation laws and regulations considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Hours-of-Service regulations for both Canada and the US
  • Possessing a valid commercial vehicle license is an asset
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in the transportation industry, including former experience as a driver is an asset
